1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RoganEXP ("the Service"), available at roganexp.com and associated applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
RoganEXP is a fan-operated knowledge platform for the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. The Service provides episode summaries, guest profiles, AI-generated content cards, video clips, a knowledge graph, and an AI chat feature. RoganEXP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Joe Rogan, Spotify, or any related entities.
3. User Accounts
You may browse the Service without an account. Creating an account requires a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; (c) scrape, crawl, or harvest content from the Service in bulk without permission; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; (e) impersonate any person or entity.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
Episode metadata, thumbnails, and video content are sourced from publicly available YouTube and Spotify APIs and remain the property of their respective owners. AI-generated content (ExpCards, summaries, clips) is produced by automated systems and provided as-is for informational and entertainment purposes. User-generated content (chat messages, preferences) remains your property, but you grant RoganEXP a license to process it for Service functionality.
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate episode summaries, verdicts, and chat responses. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, misattributions, or errors. It should not be treated as factual reporting. Always refer to the original episode for authoritative content.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, and X (Twitter) for content display and distribution. Your use of content from these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service. RoganEXP is not responsible for third-party content availability or accuracy.
8. Subscription Tiers
The Service offers free and paid tiers. Paid features, pricing, and availability may change. Refund policies for paid tiers will be communicated at the point of purchase.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. RoganEXP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
